The Ridgefield Guild of Artists is a regional and community-based art
organization that promotes the visual arts and arts education by providing
1) high quality gallery space for exhibitions, 2) art classes for children
and adults, 3)opportunities for artist-in residency programs, and 4) art
lectures on-site and in collaboration with other cultural organizations.

Strategic Planning for the Artist
Fee: $40; $90 for 3-workshop series
Presenter: Colleen Keegan, Strategic Planning Consultant

Participants in this intensive workshop will learn a system for strategically mapping out how to reach goals in their careers as artists. Presentations and exercises will help participants to develop tools necessary to communicate effectively about their work, to target the essential resources, and to plan financially how to make their goals possible.

Colleen Keegan is Strategic Planning Consultant for Creative Capital professional development workshops for artists. She is a partner in Keegan Fowler Companies, an equity investment and consulting firm which specializes in providing strategic planning and business affairs services to companies in the communications and entertainment industries. Keegan has also worked as a producer for MTV Networks, WETA, and Showtime. She has served on numerous boards of directors, including the American Refugee Committee, the MS Foundation, Texas Film Commission, Emily's List, the NOW Legal Defense Fund, and Senator Dianne Feinstein's Advisory Council.
