Classes for Children & Teens

Traditional Drawing & Painting
classes starting Saturday December 5th

The Ridgefield Guild of Artists has a long tradition of offering our traditionally taught class of drawing and painting with our instructor Carol Miller. Her background originated in years of commercial art; now concentrated on oil portraits and teaching. This class focuses on drawing and enhancing the ability to see. Working with color through watercolor craypas and advancing to oil, combined with drawing creates a foundation for art. Classic as well as contemporary artists are integrated in our studies. Supplies needed are a sketch book, drawing pencils, charcol pencils, craypas, and water color set.

Please contact the Guild at 438-8863 to register.

Students are welcomed to join or drop in on any Saturday.

Our winter session will begin Saturday, December 5th for 10 weeks
(off 12/26 and 1/2/10).
